DOJ Seeks Applicants for Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee

HELENA -- The Department of Justice is seeking applications for membership on the Tow Truck Complaint Resolution Committee. The committee will have six members: two from the tow truck industry, one from the commercial motor carrier industry, one from the insurance industry, one from the public and one member from the Montana Highway Patrol.

The committee will review and resolve complaints that arise from signed written complaints involving tow truck issues. The term of membership will be three years.

Letters of application should include the applicant's name, address and any qualifications the applicant believes are relevant to his or her ability to serve as a committee member. Deadline for applications is January 23, 2004. Once the application deadline has passed, the attorney general will make a final decision on committee membership within 10 days.
