Technical Problems Causing Delays on Title & Registration Bureau Calls

HELENA – Officials with the Motor Vehicle Division of the Department of Justice said Friday that there are technical problems with the telephone system at the Title and Registration Bureau.

Customers calling the TRB should expect delays in answering and routing calls. There have also been reports that some calls are being dropped, either prior to being answered or during the call.

Dean Roberts, division administrator, said the TRB hopes to resolve the problems within a week. Roberts suggested customers e-mail questions to mvdtitleinfo@mt.gov.

"We're working on repairing the system as soon as possible," Roberts said. "In the meantime, we appreciate our customers' patience."
