McGrath: Supreme Court Decision Upholds Integrity of Ballot-Measure Process

HELENA – Montana Attorney General Mike McGrath today released the following statement in relation to a Montana Supreme Court decision. In its opinion, the court affirmed Montana District Court Judge Dirk Sandefur's order invalidating certification of ballot measures CI-98, CI-97 and I-154.

"It is imperative that Montana citizens have faith in every step of the ballot-measure process. The Montana Supreme Court's opinion today upholds the integrity of that process."
