State, Tribal Law Enforcement Agencies to Hold Meeting, Renewal Ceremony

HELENA – The State of Montana and the Flathead Tribes law enforcement cooperative will hold a listening session and agreement renewal ceremony on Thursday, September 20 at 1 p.m. at tribal headquarters in Pablo.

The state, local jurisdictions and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes have cooperated to provide law enforcement services on the reservation since 1994. At the meeting on September 20, the agencies will renew the agreement for another term and hear the concerns and suggestions of the public on how to improve the relationship among the agencies involved.
