Attorneys General, ATF Join With Credit Card Companies to Prevent Illegal Cigarette Sales Over the Internet

HELENA – Attorney General Mike McGrath on Thursday announced a joint public/private initiative to prevent the illegal sale of cigarettes over the Internet. Participants in the initiative include attorneys general from across the country, the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and credit card companies.

State Improving Temporary Registration Permits for Vehicles

HELENA – The Montana Department of Justice Motor Vehicle Division is developing a computerized process to issue a new type of temporary vehicle permit. Five car dealers are now testing that process, Motor Vehicle Division administrator Dean Roberts said Wednesday.
