Attorney General Fox and Congressman Daines Place Friendly UM-MSU Football Wager

Today, Montana Congressman Steve Daines and Attorney General Tim Fox entered into a friendly wager over the upcoming University of Montana – Montana State University football game.

Both will be attending Saturday’s game in Bozeman. Daines will also hand off the game ball to referees prior to kick off.

If the Grizzlies win, Attorney General Fox will give Congressman Daines a UM sweatshirt that he will wear in a photo to be shared via social media. If the Bobcats win, Congressman Daines will give Attorney General Fox an MSU sweatshirt and the photo will be likewise shared.

“I look forward to adding a maroon and silver sweatshirt to Congressman Daines’ wardrobe,” Attorney General Fox said. “I was going to get him one for Christmas anyway.”

“I always thought our attorney general looked nice in blue and gold,” Congressman Daines added. “I look forward to sending him home from Saturday’s game with a nice Bobcat jersey.”

Congressman Daines, the first MSU Bobcat elected to Congress, graduated from Montana State University in 1984 with a degree in chemical engineering. Attorney General Fox graduated from the University of Montana in 1981 with a degree in geology and in 1987 with a law degree.
