Drug Endangered Children (DEC)

The mission of Children’s Justice Bureau – Drug Endangered Children Program is to break the cycle of abuse and neglect of children exposed to illicit drug use, possession, manufacturing, cultivation or distribution. To collaborate with agencies to identify and offer intervention for children who are at risk of suffering physical or emotional harm as a result of drug misuse or illegal drug use, and whose caretakers’ substance misuse interferes with their ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment.  (Children + Drugs = Risk)
