The Rape Exam Training Program

The Montana Rape Exam Training Program is an online resource for Montana healthcare professionals who perform forensic medical exams, also called rape exams. This program offers information about rape exams and online training on using the state-sanctioned rape kit. Although designed for healthcare professionals, this program is open to anyone in Montana involved in sexual assault response. The online training is restricted to individuals affiliated with sexual assault response organizations operating in Montana. Sexual assault response organizations include healthcare facilities, law enforcement, the criminal justice system and victim advocacy groups. Registration is required for access to the online training.

General information about rape exams is open to the public. However, the Montana Rape Exam Training Program is not intended to provide information to victims of sexual assault. If you or a friend need help, go to the Montana Coalition Against Domestic & Sexual Violence website for assistance.
